Life style
According to popular opinion and polls, Finns are among the most polite, friendly, and helpful people in Europe, although Finns are somewhat introverted. Finns are very active people in producing and consuming everything their country has to offer. People are known to be avid readers, which probably explains the fact that there are many libraries that are well stocked with foreign and local books and periodicals.
The Finnish way of life is relaxed and laid back. Finns are heterosexual – they say what they want. Unlike many Western cultures, Finns are not embarrassed by silence during conversation. Finns do not speak while others are speaking. He or she will respond only after the other person has had a chance to speak.
