DEGREE ROUTES

Choose the right level for your background

Bachelor’s study

At bachelor’s level, inspect the mathematics, computing and engineering foundations before the business electives. Ask how laboratories, design work and industrial projects are assessed. If you are comparing this route with business management, identify which technical subjects you would study in each. Confirm accreditation and the award title rather than assuming that the word engineering establishes a professional licence.

Master’s & specialist study

For a master’s, map your prior credits to the required engineering, mathematics and economics subjects. Compare specialist tracks such as operations, logistics or innovation management and read their compulsory modules. Ask whether an industry dissertation requires you to secure a company yourself. Keep automotive and aerospace courses as separate alternatives unless the published programme explicitly includes those tracks.

How to compare your shortlist

Create a row for each programme containing the award, institution, compulsory modules, language, entry subjects, total fee and deadline. Record a link to the current course notice. If two programmes have similar names, compare their required modules before assuming they provide the same preparation.

Use the official Italian programme portal for Italy and check the host institution’s current notice. For professional practice, start with ENIC-NARIC professional-recognition guidance and the competent regulator.

Prepare with our document guide and student tools, or request help comparing study options. Sources checked 27 October 2026; confirm the specific 2026–2027 or later course call before applying.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your questions, answered

How do I know whether a course suits me?

Compare the compulsory modules and assessment methods with the skills you want to build. Ask the institution about any unclear prerequisites.

Can I switch subjects for a master’s?

Some programmes accept a different academic background; others require specific credits or subjects. Check the individual admission notice.

Will the qualification be recognised?

Recognition depends on the award, its purpose and the country where you intend to use it. Regulated professions require separate checks with the competent authority.

How can I compare tuition fees?

Record the current fee for your nationality, intake and full planning period. Use the tuition comparison tool with quotations from the institutions.
