The objective of the master’s degree course in Medicine and Surgery is professional and human training that gives future doctors skills and sensitivity not limited to the correct recognition and treatment of diseases but projected towards a broader concept of health attentive to the patient as a person as a whole and in his uniqueness.

The theoretical-practical training process takes place in a path that provides for the transmission of methods, knowledge, and experience and which aims to stimulate the aptitude for reasoning to solve health problems with conscious responsibility from a preventive, clinical-diagnostic point of view, therapeutic and rehabilitative.

Particular attention is paid to the development, in the future doctor, of the ability to communicate clearly and humanely with patients and family members. Equal attention is dedicated to issues relating to deontological rules of conduct to increase the spirit of service and the aptitude for collaboration not only with other doctors but also with all the various professional figures who animate the healthcare world and, with whom, the future doctor will be called to operate and discuss.

Finally, adequate training space is also intended for health economics issues to make the future doctor capable of making informed choices and therefore responding to the needs of the National Health Service with a view to full and efficient use of human resources and structure available. The faculty’s aim is to educate ‘doctors’ who are not only technically and scientifically competent, but who are sensitive and ready for the new cultural demands and new health needs of a new society. The MSc in Medicine and Surgery is open to a programmed number of students. The number depends on existing educational options (teacher and structure).

This is to ensure effective relationships between teachers and students, and between organizations and students. A competitive exam is required to access the course. The exam will take the form of his only national exam, including multiple-choice questions, in early September. The course is pedagogically divided into Year 6 and Semester 12. Of the latter, the first five of his are devoted to biological or preparatory training, and the remaining seven of him are primarily to applied clinical training. Participation in the course is mandatory. The 6-year course has 35 exams, which correspond to the 35 foundation courses. Didactic activities include the core curriculum and didactic optional activities that students can choose from monograph courses and humanities forums. Nursing

This course provides a step-by-step approach to knowledge aimed at preventing, treating, rehabilitating, relieving, and protecting individual and collective health. This preparation is achieved through training courses divided into foundational, characterizing, related, and student-selected courses. These courses require hours of work, including classes, exercises, and study hours. In addition, thanks to participation in a six-month cycle of theoretical and practical training under the constant guidance of a private tutor, students acquire skills and behavioral models useful in their professional practice.
