VISA PREPARATION

Understand your application route

University admission, scholarship selection and immigration permission are different decisions. A university offer can be an important document, but it does not guarantee a student visa. Requirements depend on your nationality, residence, destination, study duration and course.

Guidance for your next step

Find the correct authority

Start with the destination’s official government or consular website. Confirm whether you need an entry visa, a residence permit, both, or a different route. Use the instructions for the mission or authority responsible for your place of residence.

Organise evidence before applying

Check the required admission evidence, financial support, insurance, accommodation and identity documents. Record translation, legalisation and validity rules exactly as the authority states them. Keep copies of submitted forms and receipts. Never submit altered records or pay someone who promises an approval.

Use a checklist carefully

Our document checklist tool helps organise preparation; it is not an official assessment. For Italy, use the foreign ministry’s study guidance. For Germany, use the federal study-visa page. Recheck the official instructions before submitting.

Questions and examples

Ask the team about document organisation or application instructions. Any historic visa or admission examples retained below are individual records, not evidence of a future applicant’s eligibility or a success-rate guarantee.
